The snow has been melting today - thank goodness. Hopefully it will be gone before too long. I am now going to cheer myself up with a favourite cocktail, the Scarlett o'Hara. This is a Deep South take on a cosmo and always makes me want to lace up my corset and say "well frankly I don't give a damn!" to the rest of the world.

Place one measure of Southern Comfort and half a measure of Cointreau in a cocktail shaker with one measure of cranberry juice and half a measure of Rose's lime cordial. Add ice cubes and shake. Shake again to be on the safe side. And again.
Pour into a martini glass and savour.
